How to get 1000 instagram followers in a day?

Instagram has long ceased to be just an application for personal photos. Extravagant politicians use it for public statements, show business stars – to communicate with fans, and entrepreneurs – to sell their goods and services.

There are 400 million active users on the Internet, who upload 3.5 million photos every day. Europe ranks fifth in terms of the number of users, and Moscow is the fourth in the ranking of the most mentioned cities.

Therefore, the social network becomes an important sales channel for small European companies and a convenient way to declare themselves. But many still do not understand the laws by which it works.

This was not understood in the editorial office of The Village – and they decided to check everything on themselves.

In the personal blog of our editor Ann Smith, in which she published photos from the holidays, food and cats, for a few years, only 160 subscribers have accumulated, and the posts collected at best a couple of dozen likes.

In November 2015, as an experiment, she decided to start a new account and, consulting with experts and using all possible methods of promotion, she learned how many subscribers can be attracted in two months if one really tries.

Preparation for getting a lot of instagram followers

To begin with, it was necessary to determine the topic – to find something that we can interest users of social networks. we am sensible about our blogger’s appearance and we understand that our blogger’s selfies at the mirror will not cause a special excitement.

Cosmetics we almost do not use – a beauty blogger from me, too, no, in addition, it’s quite a costly hobby. we cook very mediocrely and basically eat what our blogger’s husband will cook, so it would be dishonest to pretend to be a culinary blogger.

But for more than ten years we have been practicing yoga, going to India, going to seminars, reading books and laying out a rug daily for classes. we would have long focused on teaching, if we had not been so attached to journalism.

Fitness and healthy lifestyles are very popular topics in Instagram. Some users promote running, others – bodybuilding, the third – a healthy diet. Static asanas of yoga in general as if created for a social network with photos: new pictures on the tag #yoga appear every second.

There are also stars here: for example, the teacher from Aruba Rachel Braten (@yoga_girl) has collected almost 2 million subscribers and conducts seminars around the world, while the other yoga stars, Kino

McGregor (@kinoyoga), have almost a million followers and also no problems with work. And this is not to mention the hundreds of models and celebrities who are no-no and will stand up in the dog’s face.

Around the topic a lot of commerce: in Instagram sell yoga pants, yoga mats, all sorts of trinkets and appliances like yoga hammocks and yoga wheels.

Prices shock me: for example, for leggings with a psychedelic pattern, they ask for up to $ 100. But there are buyers – largely due to the popular yoga bloggers who are posing in these pants.

In general, we decided to do a yoga blog in the hope of becoming as cool as Rachel, but before that we wrote to the author of the book about Instagram Andre Snow and asked to evaluate the idea.

“The first and most important thing is how will your account differ from those already existing?

In other words, why do people have to subscribe to you?

It is necessary to find the answer to this question in the first place, “he replied. And we thought. It has always been very difficult for me to answer the question that we have a good and why we am better than millions of other girls.

Not finding a competitive advantage inside, we decided to look for him outside. Here it is necessary to admit: the last year we live in a suburb of Rome and work remotely. we decided that the views of

Italy and Rome would be able to set me apart in a crowd of other yoga bloggers. So our blogger’s account @yoga_italy was born. Running forward, we want to say that the name is unsuccessful: it is impersonal, European users consider it to be foreign, and foreigners do not understand why the European writes about yoga in Italy.

Andre Snow approved the idea and said that we would need a photographer and designer, as well as a budget for promotion and goods that we could sell. we had nothing of this, but we did not despair.

We started looking for a tool of labor. we had an old Samsung phone, but our photo editor, rejected his photo: he said that a new generation smartphone with a camera would be more powerful, but it’s expensive.

We agreed on the purchase of a digital soap box. On the local analogue of Avito, we found the new Canon IXUS for only 50 euros (it was in November, so “all”).

The only drawback was the doll-pink color, but this gave the event a special irony. To the camera we bought a tripod on flexible legs for 8 euros and sat down to study theory.

On the Skillshare site, you can watch several video courses on photography for free. we chose one about preparing a photo for Instagram. The main advice is no standard filters.

They are too sharp and recognizable. It is better to download an additional photo-editing program that will help increase the brightness, contrast and sharpness of the pictures.

To process and publish the video, you need one more program – and for reposts too.

We obediently downloaded all this and later moved the memory card from the camera to the smartphone, opened the pictures in the Photo Editor and pulled out the brightness, contrast and sharpness as best we could.

By the way, we would suffer much more if we did not meet with Kate Orlow, who develops the Onlypult service. It allows you to download photos and videos from your computer and plan their publication for a certain time.

Kate gave the test service, and at the same time advised to do three or four posts a day, so as not to bother, but always be in sight. These analysts said that it is best to upload photos at 8 am in Paris, when everyone is going to work, at lunch and after 8 pm.

In general, if it was not for postponed posting function, we would have to get up at 6 am local time and half-sleep to create the first post.

But before we started to conquer Instagram, we had to master the art of yogic self: our blogger’s husband just left to work in another city, and there was nobody to photograph me.

It’s done like this: put the camera on a tripod (with flexible legs it can be placed anywhere), press the timer, and then you have ten seconds to have time to run, take an effective pose, draw in the stomach and make the face easier. we found our blogger’s most pleasant facial expression by experience.

We noticed that with a serious face we look like an injured hamster, and with a smile – at a merry Eskimo with those cheeks. Best of all, we look with a our blogger’ssterious half-smile, which seems to say: “I’m calm, happy and have already understood everything.”

The first phototests we did at home and showed them to instagram photo, who, by the way, teaches in the UK.

He said that it turned out so-so, and gave me the main secret of the normal composition: it is necessary that the whole body be in the frame, and preferably in the center. we tried our blogger’s best to follow this commandment as best we could.

We went to the photo shoot in Rome on Saturdays. we just walked in the center, stopped in the deserted beautiful places and started to represent something.

From the outside, we probably looked very funny, but there are so many tourists with self-poles and urban madmen that no one paid any attention to me. In Rome there are a lot of non-obvious points with panoramas, fountains and statues. In general, if our blogger’s business goes badly, I’ll start driving excursions “Photogenic Rome”.
